Our Shows This Weekend

Hi Friends,
We’d be thrilled if you could join us for one of our shows this weekend.

Friday night we are playing Celebrate Brooklyn at Prospect Park Bandshell.
It’s a free show so you should get there early to be sure you get a good spot, and to check out Olöf Arnalds from Iceland. We are big fans of hers, and know she’s going to put on a beautiful performance that shouldn’t be missed.

Saturday we’re heading up to play Mass Moca in North Adams. It’s going to be a really special night, so we hope all of you in Massachusetts can make it out.

Love,
Blonde Redhead

recording and a show

Friends, Sorry we've been a bit out of touch. We've been really busy, locked away writing for our new album. We're really excited about what we've been doing! At the end of April however, we're coming out for one quick show in Virginia. If you're able, we hope some of you can make it.

"This video joins Simone Pace, best known as one-third of Blonde Redhead, on one of his vintage Italian motorcycles, from an East Village garage, across the Brooklyn bridge, to the band's recording studio. Simone shares some of the design elements that make him a fan of Motoguzzis, offers some insight on Blonde Redhead's music and tells the story of the first time he played drums."

dates cancelled

We are sorry to announce that unfortunately we have to cancel the end of our tour. Amadeo is very sick and he cannot perform. The shows that are cancelled are 9/24 at Toad’s Place in New Haven, 9/25 at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, and 9/26 at the Roxy in Boston.
Once again, we are so sorry about this and will do our best to make it up to you as soon as we can.

Love,
BRH

from kazu

The last tour bus had a big bedroom in the back and it was once Morrissey's bedroom on tour. I got to sleep in it since I was the only non-male. I slept better in this bed than my own. It was only a week tour but I slept from right after the show till right before the sound check the next day everyday which was more than 10 hours in average. I am kind of a insomniac(could you tell from from my permanent puffy eyes?) Even if I wasn't sleeping I just played with Colette in it as you can see here. I just had to tell you because I hardly sleep.
